We take the time to get to know our clients well so that we can guide them in the right direction. We learn about their academic background, scholarly interests, hobbies, passions, favorite music, friends, pets, hopes, aspirations, likes, dislikes, and motivations. Regardless of grades, class rank, or goals, there is a college for every student. We just have to find the best one.
Our work with students is not transactional; it is transformational.
At Launch, we don’t simply hand the student a list of schools and say, “Apply here.” We learn as much as we can about the student so that we are able to make solid, educated suggestions for which colleges they should consider. Because our students become part of the process, they feel more vested in their ultimate decision. The college journey ultimately is a learning experience for each of our students. By involving them completely in the process, they uniquely understand the special value of being invested in their future as they embark on college and independence.
Choosing a college can be a stressful and challenging time. Working with us will lessen the stress that families face. At Launch, we take on the load of ensuring that your student’s college applications will be an excellent reflection of them, that they will have every ”t” crossed and “i” dotted, and that they will be submitted on time.
You don’t have to be a junior or senior in high school to work with us. In fact, we welcome students in all grades who want help figuring out this next big life step. We offer a complete package of head-to-toe services, or we can work on individual parts of the application process on an hourly basis. At Launch, we’ll meet you where you are to get you where you want to go.
What we do:
Get to know the student
Advise on high school course selections
Counsel on summer activities, such as jobs, internships, classes, volunteering, etc.
Provide test prep tutor names as needed
Project-manage the entire college application process
Create a list of colleges and universities that fit each student’s unique requirements
Revise college list as needed
Assist in filling in all sections of the Common App (or unique college application)
Brainstorm essay and supplemental writing requirement ideas
Review, provide feedback to, and edit all essays and supplements
Work with the student until they have hit “SUBMIT” for every college on their list!
Assist with decisions after acceptances have arrived
